CHOCOLATE MINT DESSERT 
15 graham crackers, crushed
2/3 c. butter
2 c. powdered sugar, sifted
3 eggs, separated
2 sq. bitter chocolate, melted
Pinch salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. finely chopped nuts
1 qt. mint ice cream

Pan: 7 x 11 baking dish or pan. Sprinkle 1/2 crackers on pan bottom. Cream butter and powdered sugar. Beat egg yolks and add to sugar mixture. Add chocolate, salt, vanilla and nuts. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites and pour over crumb base. Freeze one hour. Spread ice cream over and cover with remaining crumbs. Return to freezer until almost ready to serve. Take out to soften for a few minutes.
