PEAR CREAM CHEESE SALAD 
1 #2 1/2 can pears, or 1 qt. home canned
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon Jello
1 c. whipping cream
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened

Drain pears. Heat juice to boiling. Dissolve Jello in pear juice and allow to cool to room temperature. Using mixer, mix cream cheese and cream until smooth. Combine with Jello mixture.

Lightly oil a 5 cup ring mold. Stand pears upright around edge of mold. Pour Jello mixture over pears. Chill several hours. Invert and turn out onto serving plate.
