WHEAT GERM CHOCOLATE CHIP PIE | |
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter 3/4 cup sugar 1 cup wheat germ 2 eggs 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 (9-inch) pastry shell, unbaked Melt butter and cool. Gradually beat in sugar. Add wheat germ, eggs, chocolate pieces and vanilla. Beat with spoon until creamy and blended (about 2 minutes). Fill pastry shell. Bake at 350°F 40 to 45 minutes. Knife inserted in center should come out clean. Top with whipped cream or ice cream and sprinkle with wheat germ if desired. |
