MY BEST BANANA BREAD 
2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
4 eggs, beaten
6 ripe bananas
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, mashed bananas and vanilla. Sift flour, salt and soda 3 times and gently fold in. Do not over mix. Pour into 2 greased and floured 5 x 9 x 3 inch pans. Bake 50 minutes at 350 degrees.
