FAVORITE PANCAKES 
1 egg
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. oil or butter
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder

Mix all ingredients.

Stir in enough all purpose or whole wheat flour to make a thin pancake batter.

Bake, one at a time, on a hot, buttered griddle, turning pancake once until both sides are golden brown. Pancakes are ready to flip when tiny bubbles begin to form around the edges.
