1 egg
1 c. buttermilk
2 tbsp. salad oil
1 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Beat egg; add remaining ingredients in order given and beat until smooth. Pour onto hot griddle. Turn when puffed and full of bubbles. Bake other side until golden.
