DELICIOUS FRESH PEACH COBBLER 
8 to 10 medium fresh peaches (peeled and sliced)
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
3/4 cup milk

Peel and slice peaches. Gently mix the peaches with brown sugar, cinnamon and cornstarch. Allow butter to melt in a 9x13-inch baking dish in the oven as you preheat it to 350°F.

Meanwhile, stir together the flour, sugar, baking powder and milk until the consistency of pancake batter. Remove pan with the melted butter from the oven. Immediately pour in batter. Do not mix! Spoon peaches over batter. Return to oven and bake at 350°F for 45 minutes, or until the crust rises over the fruit and browns well.

Scoop out servings while warm. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
