OPEN FACED CHEESE CAKES 
1/2 lb. butter
2 (3 oz.) cakes cream cheese
2 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder

Mix all ingredients together. Roll out dough about 1/4 inch thick. Cut into round shape. Place filling on top. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

CHEESE FILLING:

1 c. dry cottage cheese
2 egg yolks
1 tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. lemon rind, grated
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine all ingredients and place a spoonful on each round dough.
