OPEN FACE FRUIT CAKE 
DOUGH:

1 3/4 c. flour
1/4 lb. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 egg

FILLING:

Sliced fruit, peeled (apples, peaches, blueberries)
3 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Blend ingredients for dough. Pat dough into bottom and sides of 9 inch greased round cake pan. Add fruit overlapping slices slightly. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon and lemon juice. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
