FIRE AND ICE TOMATOES 
6 lg. ripe tomatoes, peeled & quartered
1 lg. green pepper, thinly sliced
1 lg. red onion, thinly sliced
Cucumbers for garnish

Arrange vegetables in a non-metal baking dish. 4 1/2 tsp. sugar 1/8 tsp. mustard seed 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper 1/8 tsp. black pepper 1/2 c. cold water 3/4 c. vinegar

Bring above ingredients to a boil and boil 1 minute. Pour over vegetables and chill.
