HONEY WHOLE WHEAT BREAD 
Combine:

1 c. warm water
2 pkg. yeast
1/2 tsp. sugar

Stir until yeast and sugar are dissolved. Let sit until mixture is bubbly.

In a very large bowl, combine:

4 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. nonfat dry milk powder
1/2 bran flakes
1/4 c. wheat germ
1 tbsp. salt

Combine the liquid ingredients:

1/2 c. honey
2 tbsp. oil
2 c. warm water (105-115 degrees)

Pour the warm liquid mixture over the flour mixture. Stir. Add the yeast mixture. Beat with an electric mixer for 3 minutes. Stir in:

1 c. whole wheat flour
4-4 1/2 c. "Better for Bread Flour"

Knead for 5 minutes on floured board. Place in a well greased bowl. Let rise until doubled in bulk. Punch down; divide in half and shape into 2 loaves. Place in greased 9 x 5 inch pans. Cover and let rise. Bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Brush melted butter or tops of loaves while still warm.
