HAM AND NOODLE CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 c. noodles
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1 c. grated cheddar cheese
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. ketchup
1 tbsp. horseradish
1 c. cut up cooked ham
1 c. drained canned peas
2 tbsp. butter, melted
3 slices bread, cut in cubes

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cook noodles and drain. Meanwhile, in a saucepan over low heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and add flour, stirring until smooth. Gradually stir in milk and cook, stirring until smooth and thickened. Remove from heat and add cheese, stirring until melted. Add noodles, salt and the next 4 ingredients and then pour into casserole. Top with combined 2 tablespoons of butter and bread cubes which have been saturated together. Bake until cubes are slightly browned. Baking time is usually 30 minutes. Makes 4 large servings.
