APPLE PIE MADE EASY 
Pastry for 2 crust 9" pie
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
6 tart apples for cooking (sliced & peeled)
1 tsp. cinnamon

Mix cinnamon and sugar together. Add apples and mix well. Place apples into pie shell. Add butter. Add top crust, pinch edges together. Make slits in top crust.

Bake in preheated oven at 375°F for 50-55 minutes.

Makes 8 servings.

I added a few things that really made this taste extra good! I added a quarter teaspoon of allspice with the sugar and cinnamon. Once the apples are mixed with the dry ingredients and put into the pie shell, I sprinkle a little vanilla over the entire mixture. Just don't soak the apples. Then, after the top pie shell is in place and the slits are made, I melt a little butter and brush it on top, sprinkle a little cinnamon and finally, sift some powder sugar over the top, then bake. My kids and I love it!
