Holy Cow! This is SO GOOD! I used dark brown sugar, only because it's what I had on hand. Delicious!

I made this for my sorority sisters last night, because it was the first real cold night of the season. It is a GREAT Autumn pie. It really hits the spot and makes you feel at home. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the topping doesn't melt down into the apples, so the apples are simply baked as are while the topping sits on top. STILL.. it's amazing. I highly recommend it!
