1 yellow cake mix (2 layer) with no pudding added
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple and 1 cup of sugar
1 (9 oz.) container of Cool Whip
Flaked coconut and nuts

Bake cake, per package directions in 9x13 pan. Let cool. Combine pineapple and sugar, heating and stirring until sugar dissolves. Poke holes in cooled cake with wooden spoon handle. Spread pineapple mix over cake. Prepare pudding per directions. Spread pudding over cake. Cover with foil and refrigerate over night. At serving time, spread Cool Whip over cake and sprinkle with coconut and nuts.
