CORNFLAKE COOKIES 
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups Cornflakes
1/2 cup pecans, chopped

Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla, baking soda, cream of tartar, and flour; blending well. Fold in Cornflakes and pecans. Batter will be thick and crumbly. Drop by small spoonfuls on prepared cookie sheet. Bake at 350°F for 12-15 minutes or until light brown. Remove from cookie sheet immediately, as they will stick to it when cool.
