FRIED SOFT SHELLED CRABS 
6 soft shelled crabs
1 egg
1 c. flour
1 c. milk
Salt & pepper

Clean crabs by removing soft feelers under each side of shell. Remove eyes, mouth and sand bag under mouth. Wash well. Soak in mixture of egg, milk and salt and pepper. Dip in flour. Fry in deep fat for about 20 minutes or until brown.

20 minutes is way too long!!! I usually fry mine about 5-6 minutes in very hot deep fat and they are perfectly done.
