WHIPPING CREAM POUND CAKE | |
1/2 lb. butter 6 eggs 3 c. sugar 3 c. cake flour 1 sm. carton whipping cream 2 tbsp. vanilla flavor Place in cold oven - 300 to 325 degrees. Sift and measure sugar and flour. Cream butter and sugar until smooth and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, creaming well after adding each. Add flour alternately with whipping cream. Add flavoring last. Bake at 300-325 degrees for about an hour and a half or until done when tested. |
