QUICK PICKLES FROM A FRIEND,
SUZIE KRIETNER
 
7 c. sliced cucumbers
1 tsp. canning salt
2 c. sugar
1 c. diced onion
1 c. diced pepper
1 c. white vinegar
1 tsp. celery seed

Mix cucumber and salt. Let stand 1 hour and drain. Mix remaining ingredients. Pour over cucumbers and refrigerate. Keeps 4 to 6 weeks.
