4 1/2 c. sugar
1 can evaporated milk
1 c. butter, softened
2 c. chocolate bark or chips
Nuts or marshmallows (optional)

Bring to a boil the sugar and milk. Boil 6 minutes, stirring continuously. Remove from heat, add butter and chocolate. Mix well. Pour into pan, cool and cut.
