SCALLOPED CHEESE POTATOES 
6 to 8 med. white potato
1 lg. onion
1 c. milk
1 stick butter
1 c. grated medium cheese
3 tbsp. flour
Salt and pepper to taste

Pare and slice potatoes and onions. Cover about half with water, salt and pepper. Cook and save. Grease casserole with butter layer potato, onion with cheese. Top with cheese. Melt butter add flour as if to make gravy. Add potato, water and milk to make a medium sauce. Pour over potatoes and bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
