SCALLOPED HAM, POTATOES, AND
CHEESE
 
3/4 lb. thinly sliced cooked ham; or 1 can luncheon meat, thinly sliced
1 minced small onion
4 to 6 thinly sliced, pared raw potatoes
3 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. grated process sharp American cheese (1/4 lb.)
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. catsup

Start heating oven to 350 degrees. In greased 1 1/2 or 2 quart casserole, arrange ham. Top with onion. Then top with half of potatoes; sprinkle with half of flour, salt, pepper, cheese, repeat. Meanwhile, heat milk with butter; pour over all. Bake, covered 40 minutes. Uncover, dot with catsup. Bake 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender. (It curdles a little, but tastes so good!) Makes 4 to 6 servings.
