BACON GRAVY TOAST BREAKFAST
Bread, as many slices as needed
Bacon, as many slices as needed
2 tbsp. flour or Wondra
sprinkling each of onion and garlic powder
1 cup milk or light cream
salt and pepper, to taste

Sauté bacon until crisp and set aside on paper towels.

Drain bacon drippings reserving 1 tbsp. Remove pan from heat and add milk or cream; stir in flour, whisking with a fork until smooth. Crumble 1 or 2 slices of bacon into gravy. Heat over lowest heat for 15 minutes or until thickened. Do not boil.

Toast bread to desired color. Place toast on a hot platter, pour over it the gravy. Place a slice of bacon on each piece of toast.

Variation: This may be made using bulk sausage meat (or sausages removed from the casings) instead of bacon.
