BAKED BEANS 
1 (2 lb.) can pork & beans
1/2 c. dark brown sugar
1/4 c. maple syrup
4 slices bacon
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 single serving pkg. Lipton onion soup
2 tbsp. minced dry onions
1 tbsp. mustard

Drain beans; saving liquid. Combine all ingredients except bacon in 2 quart casserole dish. Pour in just enough liquid to cover beans. Arrange bacon over beans. Bake, covered, for 1 hour at 300 degrees.
