HONEY RYE BREAD | |
1 1/4 c. warm water 1 pkg. yeast 2 tbsp. salad oil 2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. honey or brown sugar 1 c. rye flour 2 1/2 c. white flour (it usually takes a little more) Add the yeast to the warm water. Mix, add other ingredients and let rise until double in bulk. Punch down, shape and put in a greased pan. Let rise again. Bake in 375 degree oven for 25 minutes. Makes 1 loaf. |
