BUTTER SHORTCAKE COOKIES 
1/2 lb. butter (2 cubes) (1 c.)
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 1/4 c. flour

In a large bowl mix all above by HAND. Shape into 1/2 x 1 inch balls. Bake at 325 degrees for 22 minutes until very slightly brown. When cool, roll in powdered sugar. Ungreased cookie pan.
