MICROWAVE CABBAGE ROLLS | |
12 cabbage leaves 1/2 c. water 1 lb. lean ground beef or turkey 2 c. cooked rice 1/4 c. chopped onion 1 egg 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 cans condensed tomato soup Place cabbage leaves and water in large microwaveable bowl with a lid or cover with plastic wrap. Microwave on high for 5 minutes to soften. Mix meat, rice, onion, egg, salt, pepper and 1 can of soup. Divide among cabbage leaves. Fold in sides of leaves. Roll up and place seam down in a 9 x 13 inch glass baking dish. Pour remaining can of soup over cabbage rolls. Cover barely with plastic wrap. Microwave on high for 8 minutes. Turn dish once and cook on high for another 7 minutes or until heated through. |
