RED BEET CAKE | |
This is an excellent cake. Healthy too. Very moist. 1 3/4 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. sugar 3 eggs, large 1 c. oil 1 1/2 c. pureed cooked fresh beets 6 tbsp. carob or chocolate 1 tsp. vanilla Mix flour, baking soda, salt and set aside. Combine sugar, eggs, oil in mixing bowl. Beat in beets, chocolate and vanilla. Gradually add dry ingredients, beating well. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 25 minutes. |
