GERMAN CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM CAKE 
1 bar German Sweet chocolate
1 can evaporated milk
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 gallon ice cream
22 Oreo cookies (no filling)
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 c. chopped pecans
9 oz. whipped cream

In saucepan bring to boil chocolate, milk, butter, sugar and salt. Cook for approximately 4 minutes, stirring constantly until thick. Add vanilla and cool.

Crush Oreos and add melted butter. Pat into 9x13 pan (will be very moist). Slice ice cream over cookie layer. Sprinkle pecans on ice cream. Pour cooled sauce over all. Spread with Cool Whip. Freeze. Cut into squares and serve.
