PINEAPPLE UPSIDE DOWN CAKE | |
1 box, any kind, yellow cake mix 1 stick butter 1 c. dark brown sugar, packed in cup 1/2 c. grated coconut (optional) 1 can drained pineapple, crushed (pineapple rings can be used) Melt butter in 9"x13" cake pan. Add sugar and coconut and pineapple. Mix yellow cake mix as directed on package. Pour over ingredients already in pan. Bake in 400 degree oven for 20 minutes. Or until brown on top. Remove from oven, let cool, turn out of pan on to large platter. |
