PINEAPPLE UPSIDE DOWN CAKE 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/2 pkg. vanilla instant pudding
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 to 3 tbsp. butter
1 can crushed pineapple, strained
1 c. walnuts

Grease bottom and sides of 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Mix together brown sugar, butter, crushed pineapple and walnuts and put mixture on bottom of pan.

Make cake mix as directed on package using the juice from the pineapple as part of the required water. Bake as directed for cake mix. When you remove cake from pan, the brown sugar, pineapple and walnut combination will be the top of your cake.
