HAMBURGER STROGANOFF 
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, cut up
1/4 c. cooking oil or butter
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (4 oz.) can or fresh sauteed mushrooms
(2 tbsp. flour for extra thickener)
2 tbsp. dried parsley flakes
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
8 oz. dairy sour cream

Oil and onion and beef - brown together. Blend in all ingredients except sour cream. Simmer all together for 15 minutes and stir often. Blend in sour cream; heat thoroughly. Serve over rice, noodles, chow mein noodles or whatever pleases your palate.

I made this tonight and because I didn't have any onions on hand I substituted a package of Lipton Onion soup mix to the ground beef while cooking, left off the flour and mushrooms and mixed a prepared box of Bow Tie noodles in with the mixture. It was superb!
