POP'S FAMOUS SPAGHETTI SAUCE
This sauce really sticks to the pasta unlike regular sauce that runs off. I guess the heavy cream helps with that. My family said the best they've ever had! When I cook I ad lib, a little of this and a little of that. Explore with different ingredients - make it fun!

1 lb. ground sirloin
1 large yellow onion, diced
2 red sweet peppers, diced
5 cloves garlic, minced
2 (28 oz. ea.) cans tomato sauce
1 (15 oz.) can diced tomatoes
1 cup heavy cream
1 tbs. basil
1 tbs. oregano
1 tsp. onion salt
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tbsp. cider vinegar
olive oil, for sautéing

In olive oil sauté onions and red pepper over medium heat for 5 minutes. Sauté garlic for 1 to 2 minutes.

Heat tomato sauce, diced tomato and heavy cream. Add onions, peppers and garlic to sauce. Stir in all remaining ingredients.

Brown ground sirloin until well done. Simmer sauce 1 hour and add meat when done then let simmer a bit longer.

Add to your favorite cooked spaghetti and enjoy!

Variation: May substitute heavy cream with 2 jars Vodka Sauce and omit 1 can tomato sauce.
