MARINADE VEGETABLES 
6 med. tomatoes, cut in wedges
2 c. unpared cucumbers, sliced
2 med. onions, thinly sliced
1 c. carrots, thinly sliced
1 c. celery, thinly sliced
1 1/2 c. tarragon vinegar
1 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. basil
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Place vegetables in container. Combine all other ingredients; pour over veggies and chill at least 4 hours. Makes 10 to 12 servings.
