GARLIC RED PEPPER CHICKEN | |
crushed red pepper 1/2 cup garlic powder 1/2 cup seasoned salt 1 tbsp. salt 1 tbsp. pepper Preheat oven to 375°F degrees. Lay the chicken in a pan or bowl for the seasoning. Spray the chicken with olive oil spray. Take the Crushed Red Pepper and sprinkle some in your hand and using your fingers, and sprinkle a heavy pinch over the chicken (or add as much or as little as you like to suit your taste). For the Seasoning Mix: Measure out 1/2 of a cup of garlic powder to season the chicken. Measure out 1/2 of a cup of seasoned salt. Add a tbsp of salt and a tbsp of pepper. Put the mixture into a jar to save on the shelf. Use this seasoning mixture as you would seasoned salt, lightly sprinkling it over the chicken. Save the rest to use later on many kinds of foods. Note: A tablespoon of lemon peel can be added to the seasoning mix. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes depending on thickness. Submitted by: Jessica R Smith, Rome, Ga. |
