I modified the recipe by replacing the sugar with 2 small individual packs of Stevia. Substituted the oil with High Grade Organic oil. Added a very small amount of chocolate & butterscotch chips & with finely chopped walnuts. Also utilized 2 small italian ceramic loaf pans & coated them very lightly with Irish butter. Moist, light & Outstanding!

Try making it in a well greased Bundt pan, but pour in 1/2 the batter, then put in a mixture of 1 pkg. cream cheese 1/3 cup sugar, 1 tbsp. flour, 1/2 tsp. nutmeg. Pour in remainder of batter on top and bake until done. Nice surprise in the middle.

After using the same recipe for almost 9 years and then I found this and I'm switching! The flavor was amazing the texture was wonderful and the little bit of crunch on the outside of the loaf great! I did use a glass pan and I use vegetable oil and butter to Greece that and had no problem getting it out if you haven't tried this you need to do so!

The recipe does not say to grease the pan. I highly recommend that you do!

I have been making this banana bread for years, now for my grandchildren and they love it as soon as it cools enough to cut, with cream cheese or butter on it "yummy". I add whatever is in my kitchen at the time, raisins, walnuts, chocolate chips, etc.

I baked it in a 9 1/2 by 5 1/2 pan and it fit perfectly, a dark nonstick pan greased and floured.

This was easy and fabulous! I used gluten-free Bisquick. I left out the nuts and the vanilla (didn't have any in the house).

I've been using this recipe for over 3 years now, everyone loves it! I substitute pecans sometimes, sometimes no nuts at all, but every time it comes out perfect and never any leftovers - they all love it so much. Thank you so much for this amazing recipe that is so fast and easy. I do it all by hand so I don't need to dirty the mixer.
