Bisquick Banana Bread

I was really excited to find a banana nut bread that was so easy and had so few ingredients. I thought I had found my recipe for Christmas breads. Much to my disappointment, this recipe was a total flop. I followed it exactly as written. No changes. It was dry as a bone, flavorless, and overdone even though I followed the directions exactly. I wish I knew how to make it better. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've been using this recipe for over 3 years now, everyone loves it! I substitute pecans sometimes, sometimes no nuts at all, but every time it comes out perfect and never any leftovers - they all love it so much. Thank you so much for this amazing recipe that is so fast and easy. I do it all by hand so I don't need to dirty the mixer.

This was easy and fabulous! I used gluten-free Bisquick. I left out the nuts and the vanilla (didn't have any in the house).

I baked it in a 9 1/2 by 5 1/2 pan and it fit perfectly, a dark nonstick pan greased and floured.

I have been making this banana bread for years, now for my grandchildren and they love it as soon as it cools enough to cut, with cream cheese or butter on it "yummy". I add whatever is in my kitchen at the time, raisins, walnuts, chocolate chips, etc.

The recipe does not say to grease the pan. I highly recommend that you do!

After using the same recipe for almost 9 years and then I found this and I'm switching! The flavor was amazing the texture was wonderful and the little bit of crunch on the outside of the loaf great! I did use a glass pan and I use vegetable oil and butter to Greece that and had no problem getting it out if you haven't tried this you need to do so!
