BOSTON BAKED BEANS 
Crockpot
1 lb. pkg. dried navy beans (pea beans)
1 lg. onion
1/4 lb. salt pork, cut into 1 inch cubes
3/4 c. molasses
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1/2 - 3/4 c. brown sugar

The night before, wash beans and sort to remove stones and dirt. Soak overnight in a large pot filled 3/4 with water. Next morning, parboil beans until outer skins lift off when you blow on them, about 10 - 15 minutes. Drain, reserving bean liquid. Place onion and salt pork in crockpot. Spoon beans over. Mix molasses, mustard, salt, pepper and brown sugar. Pour over beans. Add enough reserved bean liquid to cover beans. Cook on high about 6 hours, then turn down to low 2 - 3 hours until beans are tender.
