"BOSTON-BAKED" PORK AND BEANS 
1 (16 oz.) can pork & beans
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. chili powder
2 tbsp. catsup
2 slices bacon

Fry bacon until crisp. Set aside. Add chopped onion to bacon fat and fry until light brown. Add the remaining ingredients, including bacon, crumbled. Heat to boiling. Pour into 1 quart baking dish and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees F. Serves 4 to 6. For larger amounts, just multiply ingredients.
