CHOCOLATE CHIP - PEANUT BUTTER
BROWNIES
 
1/3 c. butter, softened
1 c. flour
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate morsels

Cream butter and peanut butter. Gradually add sugars, beating well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; add to creamed mixture, stirring well. Stir in vanilla and chocolate morsels. Pour batter into greased 8 inch square baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

Sweet corn loses much of its sweetness soon after picking, when sugar is converted to starch. The opposite occurs in potatoes; during storage, starch is converted to sugar.
