SQUASH CASSEROLE | |
2 c. boiled fresh squash 1 sm. onion, chopped 8 crushed Saltines 2 tbsp. self rising flour 1 c. grated cheese 1 egg 1 c. sweet milk 1 tbsp. paprika 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper 4 tbsp. butter 10 crushed Ritz crackers Boil squash and onion until tender. Drain and chop. Add next 8 ingredients. Pour into buttered squash casserole dish. Place in chipped butter on top and bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. When browned, turn the oven off. Spread the Ritz crackers on top and leave in oven until crackers are browned. |
