SWISS STEAK 
2 lb. beef round
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 sm. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. Crisco
1/4 chopped green pepper
1 c. tomatoes
1 c. boiling water

Mix flour, salt and pepper together. Pound this mixture into the meat with the edge of a saucer. Brown onions and meat in Crisco. Add green peppers, tomatoes, and water. Cover and cook slowly 2 hours or until meat is tender.
