SPICE-GLAZED CARROTS 
1/2 lb. carrots, scraped & sliced into thin strips
3 tbsp. orange juice
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
1/8 tsp. salt

Combine carrots and orange juice in a 1 quart casserole. Cover with heavy duty plastic wrap. Microwave at HIGH for 5 to 6 minutes. Let stand, covered, for 30 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
