2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
2 mashed bananas
2 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. sour cream
2 squares melted bitter chocolate
2 tsp. baking soda

Cream sugar, vanilla, butter and boiling water. Add eggs, sour cream, bananas and chocolate; mix well. Add flour, soda and salt. Mix well and put in prepared pans. Makes 2 layers or 1 (13"x9"x2") pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
