My Father was of Russian decent. I was brought up to eat a few of his families foods; one is similar to this. It was called "vananikies" in which you rolled out the dough and added cottage cheese and folded it over and boiled it then baked in the oven with sour cream. Have you heard of this recipe? Please let me know. Thank you, Lydia

My grandparents were from Lithuania and they called them Klautskis. The dough is flour & water. Roll out and cut into a square or a circle. Fill with cottage cheese (traditional) or farmers cheese (similar to ricotta) or feta cheese or a combination of cottage & feta cheese that has been mixed with eggs & minced green onions or your choice of onions. Boil until dough is done and serve hot with butter as a topping. She did not bake them but baking them and the sour cream sounds yummy. No reason why you couldn't bake this recipe.
