CRESCENT CARAMEL BARS 
1 pkg. Pillsbury crescent rolls
2/3 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. butter
Chocolate chips
Pecans or walnuts

Press crescent dough out to cover bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan. Melt butter and sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute. Pour over dough, then sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 325 degrees for 10-15 minutes, or until dough is light brown. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Let chips melt a little and swirl with back of spoon if desired, letting some caramel show through.
