GRAHAM CRACKER CAKE | |
1 box Honey Nabisco cracker crumbs 2 c. sugar 1/2 lb. butter 5 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 2 tsp. baking powder 1 c. milk 1 c. shredded coconut 1 c. nuts FILLING: 1 lg. can crushed pineapple, drained and save 1 box XXXX powdered sugar 1 stick butter Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each egg. Add graham crackers, baking powder, milk (with vanilla added) and all other ingredients (except for filling). Mix well. Pour batter into three 9 inch cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Prepare filling: Mix sugar and butter; add pineapple juice little at a time. Spread on cake, cover top (not sides). Top with crushed pineapple. |
