APPLE CHEESE BALL 
12 oz. cream cheese
1 lg. apple, unpeeled and finely chopped or grated
1/2 c. finely sliced green onions
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. white pepper
2 tbsp. apple juice
1 to 1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Combine cream cheese, apple, green onions, salt, pepper and apple juice and cook in the microwave oven for 2 to 4 minutes at Medium (50%) power to blend flavors. Mix thoroughly. Add cheddar cheese. Chill mixture until it is firm enough to form into a ball. Roll ball in nuts. Serve with crackers.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
