APPLE NUT CHEESE BISCUITS 
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 3/4 c. biscuit mix
3/4 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese (3 oz.)
1 sm. apple, peeled, cored & chopped
1/3 c. cold water
1/4 c. butter

In bowl, stir together sugar, nuts and cinnamon; set aside. Stir together biscuit mix, cheddar cheese, and chopped apples. Make a well in the center of cheese mixture and add water, all at once, stirring until moistened. Form into a ball. Flatten dough out on a floured surface. Divide into 18 pieces; shape each into a ball. Roll in melted butter; then in sugar mixture. Arrange in a greased 9" round baking pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve warm. Makes 18.
