GRANNIE BURKS CHOCOLATE SPRITZ
COOKIES
 
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter (NO SUBSTITUTIONS!)
1 cup sugar
1 egg, well beaten
2 (1 oz. ea.) squares unsweetened baking chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk
2 cups cake flour
1/4 tsp. salt

Cream butter and sugar, then beat in the egg. Then beat in chocolate, vanilla and milk. Sift the dry ingredients together and add to mixture; mix well. Chill dough and shape with cookie press.

Bake at 350°F for 6 to 9 minutes or until set but not brown.
